Job Description

Golf Supervisor

As a Golf Operations Supervisor with Fairmont Chateau Whistler, you will be an ambassador for our on-site championship golf course and our golf course colleagues. Your warm, personal attention provides a memorable experience for your colleagues and guests of our golf course, making them feel welcome and valued.

This is a full-time, seasonal position, beginning in April 2026, and ending in October 2026.

Starting Rate of Pay: $22.95 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $27.10.

Job Duties Include:

Assist with training, coaching and supervising Golf Services Professionals and other golf course team members
Ensure all standards are being met by Golf Services team
Accountable for inventory of guest supplies and golf cart fleet
Assist guests upon arrival to golf course, by providing a warm greeting and assisting with golf luggage
Prepare, organize and clean golf cart fleet
Ensure daily upkeep of practice facility
Provide guest shuttles to and from hotel and/or practice facility

Qualifications

Previous experience, 1-3 years, with hospitality or golf course industry is required
Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License, with a clean record, is required
Valid BC Class 4 Driver's License (asset)
Knowledge of the game of golf is required
